About the Author
Terry Horstman is a writer, editor, podcaster, and the all-time lowest-scoring player in the history of Minnesota high school boys basketball. A dubious record, but one that can never be broken. His essays have been nominated for a ‘Best of the Net’ award from The Twin Bill, and been published by or forthcoming from Flagrant Magazine, Taco Bell Quarterly, The McNeese Review, and others. He is the creative nonfiction editor for the sports-themed literary journal the Under Review, the Minnesota Lynx beat writer for The Next, and a co-host of the Belligerent Beavs podcast covering his beloved alma mater, Oregon State University. He earned an MFA in creative writing from a Twin Cities university that is stupidly trying to cut its highly successful MFA program and he would be honored if you signed the petition to reverse that idiotic decision. Terry lives and writes in Northeast Minneapolis.
This is Where the Fantasy Begins is his first book length publication.
